12/22/2008 The prinicpals for pumoing remains the same for heights greater than 100m. From the pump side, pipelines should be leakproof, aligned and anchored properly. You may like to place gate valve on the upper side of bend at bottom. Should have min one-third horizontal length, pump should be in good condition, wear parts should have wearing within tolerance. concrete must be adequately proportioned so that good cohesivity is there, slump should be in range of 120 ± 25 mm. Proper priming is important.
