sir, what is maximum retardation available in your product? we want to use M25,M30 & M35 grade of concrtet for our work. we want to know maximum period available for placing concrete. |

The concrete can be designed for slump retention as per the requirement of the project. At present we are working with 4-5 hrs retention for one of the projects at Mumbai. For higher slump retention periods, the retarders dosage is increased which results in delay of initial setting time & possibly in early strength gain, but normally it does not affect the 7 day or 28 days strength. Pl furnish the details of your project so that we can provide you the necessary inputs.
